It's far from being a miniature masterpiece but I think he'd look OK as part of a Saga Warband or a Lion Rampant retinue. He may well serve as an Armorican Bacaudus when I get to that stage.
Looking really good. I've been using the Army Painter strong tone, diluted down, as a wash for some time. Works well as long as the base colours are a bit brighter than you want on the finished model; therein lies the artistry!

ReplyDeleteI haven't done so on this figure but on one or two of the Burgundians I've painted lately I've touched up the white halves of the livery jackets.
