Donald Featherstone
Just heard the very sad news of the death of Don Featherstone. Like many if not most wargamers of my generation, my first education in matters wargame-related came from encountering Featherstone's (and Charles Grant's) books in the local library.
Featherstone can justly be called the father of the wargaming hobby, at least in the UK. I'm very proud of my small collection of his books.

Sad news indeed. I have a few of those books myself. Had great times with 'Wargames Through The Ages'.
