Colonel Reinhart's HQ

I don't think it's giving too much away to say that this command unit will be appearing in this month's Crisis Point game of Cold War Commander.  It's a CO unit in CWC terms and will command a joint US/Dutch battlegroup.

Colonel Reinhart is named in honour of Jonathan J Reinhart, the host of the Wargaming Recon podcast, who has very kindly helped to promote Crisis Point.

I stumbled across your blog while doing a search for mentions of my podcast.

I'm deeply honored to have a unit named after me. It looks FANTASTIC! I absolutely love the camo paint scheme.

Can't wait to hear about all the fun everyone is going to have at the event.

Looking good Richard. Battlemats arrived today for the Lippe table. Where are the walls from?

I'll make sure you get to see a copyof the write up afterwards.

Richard,

This is the first outing for my new GW battlemat. I'll now be able to set up at least 8x6 the evening before we start.

The walls are from the Marbeth Designs "Low wall set". I purchased them years ago and have gradually used them since.

Is the Marbeth Designs stuff from Stronghold Miniatures? Also forgot to say I like your MERDC I think you picked the right colours looks good. How do you flatten your battlemat?

Not sure who, if anyone, currently carries the Marbeth stuff.

As for the battlemat, I haven't flattened it yet. In fact I haven't fully unfolded it! I'm hoping leaving it out over night with terrain pieces on it will do the job!
