Somewhere in Old Pavis...

...a Dragonewt Tailed Priest performs a mysterious ritual in a ruined temple.

I don't know the manufacturer.  I picked the model up second hand from a trader called Council of Bree at the Gauntlet show back in July.

It was a totally experimental colour scheme - white undercoat, a stain of Vallejo Deep Green, a wash of Citadel Bloodletter Glaze, and a final light dry brush with the old favourite Vallejo Iraqi Sand.  I quite like the patchy effect it's given.  This is clearly a Dragonewt who isn't fresh from the egg.

I think it's either a Grenadier or Lance & Laser sculpt.

I'm sure I've got one like it somewhere.

Cool figure who ever made him.

Thanks guys!

He's the only Dragonewt in my collection at present (apart from the Crested 'newt representing Belvarni's Dragonewt servant in my Sun Dome Templars Hordes of the Things army.

I shall have to look out for some more.

That's a Ral Partha mini from 1984-85 or so.

It appeared in both the "Creatures of Glorantha" boxed set, as well as the later "Dragonewts" blister pack. Here's more info, as well as a complete list of the Ral Partha licensed RQIII minis:
